Greetings football junkies, welcome to the BPL Kaki blog. In this blog, its all about the game and nothing else but the game. We'll be recapping each match played over the weekend with full statistical coverage and we're going to be holding nothing back and its going be told as it is. To kick things off, Wigan Athletic defeated Queens Park Rangers 2-0 victory at DW Stadium while Everton trump Blackburn Rovers 1-0. Swansea drew with Sunderland along with Aston Villa and Wolverhampton.
Norwich City on another hand had a bad run in with Chelsea as the newly promoted team lost 3-1 thanks to Bosingwa, Holt and Frank Lampard.

Next up, August 28 Sunday, which was the highlight of the week for Manchester fans all over globe which includes both United and City fans. Lets kick things off with Manchester City's game against Tottenham Hotspur. Although having home ground advantage, Manchester City obliterated Spurs with a 5-1 victory at White Hart Lane. With 4 yellow cards going out to Man City and 2 for Spurs, Man City secured the victory with goals coming from the likes of S.Aguero, Y.Kaboul and E.Dzeko who kicked off the season with his first quadruple.

And last but not least, the game that literally devastated Arsenal fans all around the globe, Manchester United Vs Arsenal at Old Trafford. A complete and utter humiliating defeat, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger endures a miserable day from the sides as his squad gets completely annihilated at Old Trafford with a 8-2 defeat at the hands of the red devils who showed no mercy in securing the top spot on the premier league table. The biggest match up of the weekend which made history for Manchester United for most goals scored against Arsenal since 1990 and at that time it was only 6-2. Goals were hammered in by Wayne Rooney who scored his first hat trick of the season, Nani, 'Three Lungs Park' also known as Park Ji Sung, Ashley Young and Danny Welbeck who scored the 8 goals while United conceded 2 goals to Arsenal that were slammed in by Theo Walcott and Robin van Persie.
