~Football Results, Rumors & Future~

Hello Everyone! Having a great weekend?
Desmond Teoh here covering the last blog of the week on BPL Kaki. Sadly this weekend Premier League matches is on hold because this weekend involves International matches. One of the most active International matches happening this weekend is UEFA Euro 2012 Qualifier. Besides covering the results from international matches, I'll cover the latest January transfer rumors and predict the upcoming Premier League matches.

Great news to England fans as England booked the seventh team to enter Euro 2012 finals on Friday after they failed qualify in UEFA Euro 2008 Finals. Ten-man England successfully gains a point to top spot in Group G after a draw in Montenegro. England lead 2 - 0 Montenegro with a header from Ashley Young (11 minutes) and second goal from Darren Bent (31 minutes). Montenegro's Elsad Zverotic (45 minutes) manages got his side a goal in before the half-time whistle blows and England's striker Wayne Rooney sent off with a straight red card after kicking Miodrag Dzudovic in 72 minutes. Just before the full-time whistle blows, Montenegro scores the equalizer after substitute Andrija Delibasic (90 minutes) headed in the second goal for Montenegro. Both teams celebrates after match as England qualify to UEFA Euro 2012 Finals and Montenegro secure a place in the playoffs after Switzerland lost to Wales with the score 2 - 0. With Wayne Rooney red carded in England's final match in Group G, he is likely to be banned and watch during their opening match in UEFA Euro 2012 Finals.

In Group D, France beat Albania 3 - 0 without injured Karim Benzema and Frack Ribery. Thanks to the efforts from Florent Malouda (11 minutes), Loic Remy (38 minutes) and Anthony Reveillere (67 minutes), France is now leading a point behind Bosnia and Herzegovina in Group D. Bosnia and Herzegovina trash Luxemborg 5 - 0 after each strikes from Edin Dzeko (12 minutes), Miralem Pjanic (36 minutes), Haris Medunjanin (51 minutes) and a double scoring include penalty from Zvjezdan Misimovic (15 minutes and 22 minutes[penalty]). Next, France will up against Bosnia and Herzegovina on the last day of qualification match in France. This match will conclude which team will go to UEFA Euro 2012 Finals first in Group D, either France or Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Another happening group in Group H as Portugal sharing the same points of 16 with Denmark. Both teams scores high amount of goals on their opponents, as Portugal having a good game with Iceland with the score 5 - 3 and Denmark finish off Cyprus on their 5th defeat with the score 4 - 1. Both teams are now head-to-head and Portugal travel to Denmark on their last day of qualification match to conclude which team will go to UEFA Euro 2012 first in Group H.

The last day of qualification will be happening on Tuesday as four groups still conclude which team shall be the top and take place in UEFA Euro 2012 Finals and which team shall be the runner-up and play in the play-offs round. Those groups are Group B, Group D, Group F and Group H. The teams have booked a place in UEFA Euro 2012 Finals are Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and less but not least the latest qualify team - England.

~January Transfer Rumors~
Believe it or not? Rumors happening around the world of football these days. That's no surprise because January transfer window is just around the corner and all the managers is ready to strengthen their team.

Bolton defender, Gary Cahill
Liverpool spending spree continues as they are now ready to splash £12 million on Bolton defender, Gary Cahill as a replacement for Liverpool centre-back, Jamie Carragher. It was reported that Liverpool plan to move the Bolton defender early in for the retirement of Jamie Carragher. Gary Cahill has become a well known defender in the Premier League since last season with other clubs link to him, such as Barcelona, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham. Will Gary Cahill leave Bolton for £12 million?


Chelsea striker, Salomon Kalou
Liverpool and Arsenal head-to-head link with Chelsea striker, Salomon Kalou on January transfer window. The Chelsea striker was rumored that he is struggling establish himself in Stamford Bridge and ready to move on with other clubs. Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger is ready to offer £6million on the Chelsea striker in January, but not until Liverpool join in the competition recently. Can Arsenal able to offer him with £6million in January before Liverpool manager, kenny Daglish makes a move?

Arsenal captain, Robin Van Persie
Arsenal likely lose another player again after the departure of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri, he is known as Arsenal captain - Robin Van Persie. It was rumored that Robin Van Persie refused to sign a new contract for future stay in Arsenal. With this rumored spread around the world of football, both Manchester's teams, Manchester City and Manchester United is on red alert to Robin Van Persie for January transfer window. Is Arsenal going to lose another key player again?


~Premier League Predictor~
Don't miss out next week Premier League matches as one of the awesome and hottest rivalry match between Liverpool and Manchester United. Manchester United travel to Merseyside for their first rivalry match with Liverpool before their table competitor and Manchester derby, Manchester City. Manchester United currently on top of the league table with unbeaten record, while Liverpool has already lost 2 matches to Stoke City and Tottenham. Many Manchester United players are expected to be back on Anfield debut, such as Nemanja Vidic, Chris Smalling and Tom Cleverly. As for Liverpool side, Steven Gerard will make his first start appearance of the season after 6 months absence, while Glen Johnson hoping to make his debut against Manchester United. With both teams captain are likely to be back and make debut on the match, both teams are equally matched. On other point of view, Liverpool having home advantage in Anfield and Manchester United have been well performed against big teams like Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham with big amount of goals, thanks to Wayne Rooney. The last match that both teams encounter was at Anfield in March 2011 as Liverpool defeat Manchester United 3 - 1, thanks to effort from Dirk Kuyt's hat-trick. Can Liverpool defeat Manchester United again in Anfield? Or will it be another Manchester United's Trashing Day debut?
The Reds vs The Red Devils



Besides the Reds facing each other, the Blues as well. Chelsea are up against Everton next as Everton travels to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea's striker, Fernando Torres is still suspended from Swansea City's match and Everton's midfielder, Jack Rodwell has his first suspended match after previous match against Liverpool. Chelsea are likely having a home advantage against Everton coming weekend as Everton trying to prevent their 3rd consecutive defeat in a row. Is it going to be Chelsea three straight win or Everton three straight lost?
The Blues vs The Toffees
Arsenal F.C. is dying. Everyone questioning these days on what happen to Arsenal. Could this be the time for Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger to leave Arsenal? Arsenal has made a poor start of the season with 4 loses in 7 games. Next game Arsenal will up against Sunderland. Arsenal is on home advantage but Arsenal's goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczesny facing a back injury, which likely miss the match against Sunderland on Sunday. Can Arsenal maintain their future matches and achieve into top 4 this season? Or is it time for Arsene Wenger to step down as Arsenal manager?

Besides those three big matches to be watched, there are other matches happening on Saturday and on Sunday as well. On Saturday, Aston Villa travels to Manchester against big-spending Manchester City as both teams remain unbeaten this season. The promoted clubs Norwich City and Swansea City will against each other in Carrow Road. Bolton, who still seeking for points to avoid relegation zone travel to Wigan in a north-west derby. On Sunday, top-performing Tottenham will travel to Newcastle where they have not won at St James' Park since August 2004.
